The project is focused on dissecting the role of mitochondrial genome role in the autoimmunity. For this purpose, investigate a mouse modle of autoimmune blistering skin disease in unique set of mitochondrial DNA mutant mouse strains. In addition to in vivo experiments, characterization and functional analysis of immune cells and mitochondria will be carried out. Eligibility:
As a candidate for this position, you will; – Have a Master degree in the relevant field of life sciences (immunology, biology, genetics, biochemistry etc) – Preferably have laboratory experience – Be able to handle experimental animals (mouse) – Have a good written and spoken English – Have a strong passion for science
